Fisheries Development Officer (FDO) Salary Structure:

  • The selected candidate will be placed in IDA pay scale of Rs.50,000-3%-1,60,000/- and will draw a monthly salary of Rs.50,000/- + DA of Basic Pay as on date + HRA at applicable rates (where Corporation accommodation is not available) + Cafeteria @ 35% of Basic Pay + Location Based Allowance (LBA) @ 10% of Basic Pay + 12% of Basic Pay against Provident Fund contribution + 9% of Basic Pay against NEDCSS (NEEPCO Employees Defined Contribution Retirement Scheme) + DA. Other benefits such as Leave, Medical benefits for self and dependent family members, Performance Related Pay (PRP), Gratuity (as applicable), Uniform, Communication Expenses and Furniture Reimbursement as applicable in the grade will be admissible as per Company rules in force from time to time. The minimum monthly remuneration will be Rs.1,00,000.00 only (approx. Rs. One Lakh).

  • Executive Trainee (Electrical) (E-2 Grade): Full time Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technology/AMIE/BSc Engineering in Electrical Engineering from a recognized institute or university with not less than 65% marks (55% marks for SC/ST candidates) as per the norms of the respective institute/university. Candidates must appear and qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in Electrical Engineering in 2024.
  • Executive Trainee (Finance) (E-2 Grade): Must have passed the final examination of CA (conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India) / CMA (formerly ICWA) (conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India) and the candidate must also possess a Membership Certificate.
  • Executive Trainee (HR) (E-2 Grade): Graduate with full time MBA or Post Graduate Degree/Diploma of minimum 2 years duration in Personnel & Administration/ Industrial Relations/ Human Resource Development/ Human Resource Management (65% marks or equivalent grade from a recognized university or institute and 55% marks for SC/ST candidates). Candidate must have appeared in UGC-NET in Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management/ Labour & Social Welfare/ HRM in 2024 (June cycle) and must have secured at least 40% marks in both the papers of UGC-NET to apply.
  • Executive Trainee (Geology) (E-2 Grade): Full time M.Sc./M.Tech. in Applied Geology from a recognized institute or university with at least 65% marks (55% marks for SC candidates) as per the respective institute/university norms. Candidates must appear and qualify the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2024 for Geology/Geophysics.
  • Assistant Company Secretary (Trainee) (E-2 Grade): Graduate and qualified Company Secretary holding valid membership of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI). Degree in Law would be an additional qualification. Desirable Experience: 1-2 years experience at executive or senior supervisory level in Central/State undertakings/autonomous bodies or large industrial organizations dealing with corporate law, other statutory and non-statutory secretarial matters. In-depth knowledge of SEBI/Stock Exchange compliance is desirable.
  • Executive Trainee (IT) (E-2 Grade): Full time BE/BTech/BSc Engineering (Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Electronics/IT) or MCA from a recognized institute or university with at least 65% marks (55% marks for SC candidates) as per the norms of the respective institute/university. Candidates must have appeared and qualified in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) in 2024 for Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).
  • Executive Trainee (Law) (E-2 Grade): Graduate with LLB (three years full time course recognized by the Government of India (+) two years practice as advocate or judicial service or representing PSU in court of law in CPSU or three years experience in next below grade in CPSU/Government of India/State Government. Candidates must have appeared and qualified in CLAT exam in 2025 for PG courses.

The selection process will include scrutiny of online applications and online/offline personal interview of shortlisted candidates as decided by the management.

2) Call letters will be made available in downloadable PDF format on the online recruitment portal. Additionally, notifications will be sent through SMS or email upon their release.
3) In addition to the basic qualification mentioned above, for the post of:
a) Executive Trainee (Electrical), (Candidates must have appeared and qualified Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2024.
b) Executive Trainee (Finance), Candidates must possess CA/CMA Membership Certificate issued by the appropriate authority.
c) Executive Trainee (Human Resources), Candidates must have appeared and qualified UGC-NET in Labour Welfare/ Personnel Management/ Labour & Social Welfare/ Human Resource Management in 2024 (June cycle).
d) Executive Trainee (IT), candidates should appear and qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2024 for Computer Science and Information Technology (CS).
e) Executive Trainee (Geology), candidates should appear and qualify Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE)-2024 for Geology/Geophysics.

4) Depending on the number of applications, NEEPCO reserves the right to fix eligibility criteria for cut off marks and to limit the number of candidates to be called and decide on the mode of screening or selection. No correspondence will be entertained for not calling or selecting candidates for the selection process. NEEPCO’s decision in this regard will be final and binding on all candidates.
5) Offer of appointment will be issued to the suitable candidate in the order of merit and based on the requirement.
6) If more than one candidate obtains equal marks, the candidate having higher date of birth (elder in age) will be considered for deciding position in the merit list.
